It would depend on the car, how tired I was, and how long the trip was. Normally, I don't sleep well in cars.

Not very well in a car...
I usually get a good few winks on airplanes though.

No,I can't, but my husband has NO problem at all sleeping. It's hilarious at times because the only thing holding him up is the seatbelt.

I could sleep at a rock concert (and just about did) if I were tired enough! A car's NOTHING! ;-)

NO. I have to be totally wiped out to be able to sleep in the car. And besides, my husband has sleep apnea and often gets very tired in the car. He has fallen asleep and crashed before we were married. A dear friend asked me to please, never sleep while he was driving to keep us both safe. SO I guess I've trained myself not to sleep. And yes, I do often have to rub his neck or feed him oranges to help keep him away.

No, my husband has fallen asleep while driving.. He's not old either. I don't take my eyes off him ever. I used to drive more but illness put a halt to that for now.

No, not at all. I wish I could. I was impressed with this guy I drove some 70 miles with. It was in a minivan, loaded with people. The radio was on, noise from the streets, bumpy ride and he was leaning his head against the glass window with the sun over his head and face....and he was sleeping like a baby. Another passenger woke him up when he arrived to his College dorm. He was sound asleep during the whole trip. I wish I could do that..

If I'm tired I sleep better in a car than I do in my bed. Though I sleep better on a ferry than in a car. (I just recently had a 20hr trip from Powell River to Vancouver and back in one day, and I can definetly sleep in both a car (or van in this case) and a ferry.

For some reason, I am like a baby in a car seat. I pass out after being in a car for over 20 minutes. I have no idea why, but I take awesome naps on car rides.

Absolutly. I have no issues with being in a car for long periods of time; I can eat, sleep, read, etc. without carsickness. Must be from traveling long distances frequently as a baby.

Not at all unless it's a very long trip and I am quite tired. I don't sleep well in a sitting position. I need to be flat, lying down to sleep.
