Only in the army going for my sergeant stripes. Each person will have a turn grilling you. I'd expect the questions each will ask to be very different. If you are being interviewed by three people they are very serious. If you do not know the answer to a question say so and reply "but if you will allow me, I will get back to you with an answer". Don't try to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. They will surely notice it (there are THREE of them).

There will be each of them asking you questions.. where do you see yourself if five years..what are your strenghths....what are your weakneses..Why do you want to work for us..what do you know about our company...Look them up on the internet tell them why you like their company and tell them you would like to eventually be in a mangerial position and your weakness is you tend to take on all task because you feel you could do it better and more effeciently, but you have also learned that delegating duties to those that have shown promise is beneficial to the moral of the workplace showing that good work is credited..You are in there

All my interviews have been with three people on the panel as its the standard within government. The person who does the introductions is most likely to be the boss so thats the person you most need to impress. They'll take turns asking you questions and three person panels usually means its a points based hiring...meaning each question is worth a certain amount of points and whoever scores highest gets the job. Go over you selection criteria. Almost always, the first criterias on it are the ones that have the highest points alloted to it. Make sure you know your stuff on them cause the questions which relate to those will be the ones worth the most points. Go into detail. If the question is "please describe your experince with Microsoft word" dont just say "i used it to create a help manual" Go through and list the things you can do. as in. "Whilst using word to set up a halp manual, i utilised several of its functions. I am able to set a contents list with linking to the relevant page in the document, set up appropriately formatted headers...' and so on and so forth. Thats what gets you the points.

the only thing similar that I have been on was a 4th year biochemistry final exam (an oral)...I was in a position where I could not see all three people at the same time and this was very disconcerting. I simply couldn't judge where the next question/comment was coming from. Although a job interview is not the same.. try to make sure that you can see all the people at the same time: not to be able to do so can really throw you:) .. and good luck!

Expect lots of questions from different people. I believe that it is mainly used to see how you handle the pressure of 3 people. Good luck.

Three persons interviewing you? Well, I believe that there's a role-playing aspect there: one person will be ultra kind to you, one person will be so-so, one person will be a cynic. It's one way of testing if you can handle different kinds of people and situations.

I have had a number of interviews before a board of 10-12 people. In some respects they are easier because you can usualyy detect those that are on your side.

Yes and I hated it, The manager, assistant man. and some sort of phychiatrist woman. Try to relax, just answer what they ask and try not to add anything extra. If you are like me you will get toungue tied and put your foot in it.

I use to be an employee relations professional for first General Electric, and then Exxon. What you should expect from a three-person interview is three times the same stuff you would get in a one-person interview. Sometimes the entire purpose of a multi-person interview is to see how you react under pressure. Preparing for one of these interviews is the same as preparing for any interview: review your own job accomplishments, research the company ( and if possible, the job ), and practice, practice, practice being interviewed.
