Why doesn't the "posting comment" feature always work properly in Answerbag.
After writing the comment and hitting the submit button, it just refuses to load.
What's causing this and how can it be fixed.
Clearing caches,files,cookies etc,hasn't worked.

My guess is your comment is over 500-600 characters. While it SAYS it will take 1000, there seems to be a problem with those long ones. (Sometimes posting comments takes up to a minute, too. Depends on how many people are doing something on the server at that time, I would guess.) See http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/2330946 for one of my prior explanations and tips.

If you have a long comment that wont post put it in word pad, Copy the first half and enter it into the comment box, BEFORE entering the first half, Copy the other half of your comment but don't put it in the comment box(just have it ready) Then hit enter for the first half of the comment and when it posts hit "edit" and enter the second half of your comment and "save" I have that problem too and splitting and editing seems to be the only way to get it all in one comment.
