  • I had them many years ago. From what remember about them, they are bred to be aggressive and defensive. UNLESS you have a patition between them, you NEVER put two males together in the same tank.   • It may be seeing it's own reflection in the glass sides of the tank or outside of the tank. Place a mirror up to the glass so the fish can see it's reflection and it will display and try to attack it as though it were a rival male in his territory.
