Ok, this may sound silly.... but did you plug in the power cable for the hard drive? If so, it seems likely the drive has failed. It happens. Try another external USB drive, if the other one works, that's a pretty solid conclusion.

As with any additional drivers I should see, either a path indicating driver D found or something similar to this. B/c I only see the original driver and the recover storage as I did prior, it would appear as though the drive is not connected. Even looking up the driver from a search feature brings up nothing.
