Heck... everyone smokes MJ. At 69 yrs old what should she do, lie down and die? She deserves a good buzz just like anyone else. My Grandfather smoked MJ right up to his death 12 years ago at 79 yrs old. My Grandmother had tried it and told me, "I don't really like it, but it makes a good gift." Both my parents smoke occasionally. I'm in the military and don't partake, however when I retire I don't see any reason why I wouldn't indulge every once in a while. Back to mary Anne's Mary Jane, it could be that she uses it for Glaucoma. Older people often suffer from Glaucoma and the THC in MJ reduces pressure in the eye slowing the progress of the disease.
