  • Very important as if dust gets on the turntable and then you place a record on it, with the static electricity, the dust will almost glue itself to the underside of the record in all those little grooves. Later when you turn it over and you play that side of the record, the dust will gather onto the needle and affect the sound and may even cause scratches on the surface of the vinyl.
  • As little or as much valuable as the turntable.
