I'm looking for authors/iconoclasts along the lines of Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. Any ideas?

try Sam Harris. If you like Dawkins and Hitchens, you'll love Harris. They call the three of these guys "the unholy trinity". You can find a lot of his lectures and public appearances on youtube. His recent books include The End Of Faith and Letter To A Christian Nation. He's a terrific speaker as well.

Why? Even he; he great Darwin promoter himself admitted to Ben Stein, on camera, that we may have intelligent origins! Some atheist!
