My work always involves a rigmarole! patients going batty, and alot of my tasks are a right rigmarole because they are so complex and ritualistic :)that also includes my life as being one! :)
-
rigamarole is a variation of the word rigmarole; a long, confusing, complicated procedure. It comes from the middle English, ragman roll, which was another name for a catalog.
-
I've had to deal with rigmaroles pretty regularly at work... they're NEVER pleasant... but eventually managable, no matter how exhausting.
-
I think it's like a "song and dance".
-
We go through one every day, my love;)
-
A rigamarole is something that should be simple which is made very confusing and much too long. eg "Planning the wedding was such a rigamarole". lol
-
I love the word rigamarole, I just hate having to go through them to accomplish a simple task.
-
It sounds like a cake! But I have to go through them at times.
-
Yah, things are suppose to be simple not hard. XD
-
i think of it as a big deal. or at least it does in the south. like, "man! i just went through this rigamarole with you last night and now we're doing it again?!" :] and school is my main rigamarole.
-
A complicated, petty set of procedures.Like filing your tax returns.
-
