I may be an atheist-but would you pray for me, really hard tonight? i might be an agnostic cause that sounds like an aggravated atheist. i am serious. i need a ton o' prayers for my health tonight. am i worth it? not yet.....

I'll pray for you, but you know you can pray too...You obviously are putting some stock in that there possibly could be a God. (I personally believe that there is) It may do you a world of good. Just tell Him how you are feeling, you don't have to just ask for what you want. If you are feeling some resentment, He knows this, just get it off of your chest. Just lay it all out there, and I'm sure you'll feel much better. God loves you unconditionally, no matter what. I don't know what you are dealing with but I will pray for you in every area of your life. I think you are most definitly worth it, and I believe God does too : )

I pass on the prayer thing. My health is failing too and no amount of prayer is going to change that. My legs are giving out on me and any day now I expect to not be able to walk, but even without praying my legs still work. If there were a god it would either punish me so i couldn't walk at all or fix me and since neither has happened I assume there to be no god, but I have many more reasons i won't get into here for not buying the delusion of a god.

You are not really an athiest or agnostic if you request prayer. I pray for you that GOD restore your health according to His will and purpose for your life, and that you will thus know that He is the true and living GOD. Acknowledge Him in ALL your ways, and He will direct your paths.

Prayer does not heal the sick any more then taking a sugar pill does.
