If applying for a job at a firm that you had an unsuccessful interview at several months previously, should you mention this?

Some places might say 'previous applicants need not apply,' or have a box to check if you have applied within the last so many months. I'd look for something like that, before even bothering filling out the application. If you don't see anything, well that's up to you. I'm more of the 'don't ask, don't tell' kinda person. But, be prepared. If they do bring it up, be ready with a darn good explanation as to why you're applying again! Good luck!

Most advice I have seen about interviews say you should answer their questions as honestly as possible, but there is not need to volunteer information they don't ask for.
