  • Here are the most recent two to set the ball rolling... Dontrelle Willis FLA v NYM July 7th 2006 Robert Person PHI v MON June 2nd 2002 Also, Bill Duggleby hit one for Philadelphia way back on April 21st 1898, and Steve Carlton hit one for Philadelphia on May 16th 1984. There will be quite a few more but that's all I have come with for now. The Babe is bound to have hit one while he was pitching but I don't know when and where so can't include it for sure...
  • Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners became the most recent pitcher to hit a grand slam, when he did so off of Johan Santana on June 23, 2008, while facing the New York Mets. He became the first AL pitcher to hit a home run since Cleveland's Steve Dunning hit a grand slam off of Oakland's Diego Segui on May 11, 1971. Tony Cloninger once hit two grand slams in the same game, on July 3, 1966 against the San Francisco Giants. I'm sure there are more out there, however I'm not sure of who hit them or when. I'll see if I can uncover some more. EDIT: Here are some more, hit by Red Sox pitchers: May 20 1919 Babe Ruth July 27 1935 Lefty Grove Aug 12 1936 Wes Ferrell Aug 6 1950 Ellis Kinder
  • Jeff Juden for the Phillies in 1995
