I am unsure, but if your implying only men see combat you are gravely mistaken. There are many females in service right now. Also, the Military is all volinteer. There is no draft. . . George made it quite clear that the U.S. military will remain "All Volintary". The Fact remains that the Intel. at the time suggested that Iraq had "Weapons of mass-distruction". Saddam had snubbed his nose at U.N. inspecters. Congress, as well as the U.N. tried all other political meens. . .sanctions, exc. No matter who was in office, we'd be there. (my oppinion)

No I very much doubt it . Women go into the services as well as men. If that is your inference.
-
I really doubt it.

I cannot remember the name, but there was a senator/congressman with a son in the service when the vote came around. He ended up vote yes on the war and sent his own son off to battle. I believe G.W. Bush would have done the same thing.

If you're infering that it would have been different because of the Iraq war, they wouldn't haven't volunteered to go, I'm sure. It's only a volunteer army that's fighting this war. That's one of the problems all the way around. If the draft had been reenacted, the country would have risen up. As it is, I don't even know anyone who's been to Iraq or is there. I'm afraid it's the poor midwestern guys who are suffering the most.

Only if their mindset were rigidly anti-everything "the decider" believes/does/influences...otherwise, just more of the same only in louder, deeper voices than "the girls". :(

I don't think it would have made a ounce of difference. I noticed many are willing to make a comparison without realizing the burden that is placed upon a sitting president. Many here could even fathom such a responsibility.
