  • well i am actually babysitting a 2 and a half year old, and i have to cook for her and stuff. i oly get 5 dollars per hour. but i also babysit three boys sometimes.. one time i got paid 30 dollars, for them only for an hour. so it depends on the person. i would charge about 6 or 7 for two kids though
  • Depends on where you live and the need for sitters, but I would say somewhere between 8 and 10 bucks an hour is reasonable
  • There are so many factors involved. If you have a lot of experience, and references, you should be able to charge up to $10 per hour for two kids. If you are just starting out as a sitter, I think it is fair to charge $7.50/hour for two kids. Parents really appreciate finding a good sitter. If they balk at that amount of money, they should think about the quality of care they will get for that amount.
  • It depends on where you live, but anywhere from 8-12 dollars an hour is the going rate these days.
  • I think 5 dollars an hour is reasonable.
  • I don't think $5 an hour is reasonable, that is less then minium wage. I have a child, and children can so be a handful. I think $8-10 an hour is reasonable for one child and the $1 each additional. Don't except any babysitting jobs that are not worth your time and gas.
