As a teenager who spends time (Although as little of it as feasible) around other teenagers, I can tell you with some certainty that very few young people these days are foolish enough to try to hide anything under their bed. No, the truly "Wonderful" things are... well, I'd best shut up now...

My mum wasn't too happy to find my Harry Potter book as well as some cans of Cider hidden in my wardrobe. She disapproves of Harry Potter but I am 19, which is also above the legal drinking age this side of the pond.

Great question. Mostly, I find lots of dust bunnies and toys in my boys rooms (still have not completely out growned all their dinosaur toys) and I find books, books and hey...look at this! MORE BOOKS under my daughter's bed. Thank God the Library caps off late fees at 8.00 and doesn't keep charging us for each day. There would go her college fund! Runs...
