Yes, when we went to Carlsbad Caverns and I left mine in the car so I used my friends extra pair of glasses. They helped a lot as I couldn't see anything without them.

I had to read a short story I wrote and did not have my glasses with me. It turns out that the other persons reading glasses were my same augmentation.

I use my wife's old glasses to watch t.v. at night. I broke mine about 1 and 1/2 years ago, and haven't had the money to replace them, (having replaced my wife's, my son's and my youngest daughter's twice each since). One day I will get a new pair!

no because i have a pretty strong perscription and i am totally dependant on my glasses that some one elses glasses would be no good for me.

Yes, just to try it out. It was only for about 3 seconds so hopefully it didnt damage my eyes.
