  • I think they should treat people based on their crimes. If someone is in there for for murder, they should be treated way worse than someone who was in there for say, stealing.
  • better. those who say prisons are country clubs haven't been in them. I have. the main thing they need to do is protect the prisoners from the predators they through them in with. it could be your son or daughter thrown to the wolves
  • Worse. I think if they did the crime, do the time. And not with computer or internet access. THAT is my biggest beef with the justice system. Prisoners should not be allowed access to the internet or computers. They are incarcerated, they should be treated like it.
  • I agree with "MoTo", they should be treated according to their crime. Violent criminals should get solitary, only a radio, and outside once a day. Non-violent criminals should get t.v. in addition to reading materials and activities. But, I also agree with "Shady" in that ALL criminals, above everything else, should be protected from the violent predators in prison that seem to have free reign! My little brother has been in prison more than he has been out, and he says if a prisoner wants to "get" another prisoner, almost nothing can be done. That's ridiculous!
  • They should treat them humanely, much as they do now.
  • Prison is not meant to be a hotel. The inmates are not on vacation, they are being punished for a convicted crime. Lets see, what do inmates have in prison? cellphone, television, books, free food, free housing, no taxes to pay, free medical and yes, drugs. I would say that prisoners have it pretty good. Ask any homeless person.
  • IT ain't supposed to be a country club, even though the aclu thinks it should be(what losers) They're treated WAY to good! HEY, don't like prison...DON"T BREAK THE LAW DUMB*SS! (i spelled it this way for young viewers)
  • I don't think that if you do something bad enough to land you in prison that you should be entitled to many rights. Sustaining food and education and work (mainly raising your own food or making money for your care). I don't think you should have a tv or be able to buy cigarettes and candy. Why do I feel this way? Well, when I was grounded for breaking rules when I was a kid, I had no rights to all that extra stuff...why should it be any different for a prisoner?
