  • When you toss the bottle its recycled- like they really recycle it all-in theory the only non recyclable part is the bottle cap so in theory, you are protecting the environment.
  • No, I'm protecting my lack of money from being spent.
  • I've never seen the point of bottled water except in emergencies, it does not save the environment by using it, to the contrary the bottling process uses more resources than it saves. I have water on tap and use it as such although I do filter it and recycle the used filter back to the manufacturers. I think it is hyped up to make money and seems to be a fad that will eventually pass when people realise they are paying as much for water as they do for fuel.....it doesn't make sense. + :o)
  • I do not drink much bottled water, I only buy it when I am traveling, and then I save the bottles and re-use them for tap water to bring to work. I do not drink bottled soda, in a can if at all.
  • I use bottled water on occasion, but normally I refill the smaller bottles from gallon containers I fill myself with purified water. I carry my own bags to the grocers and won't use those horrid plastic things. I recycle all glass, plastic, and paper in our house and we are installing solar water panels next year. I'm all about helping the environment as much as possible since humanity has screwed it up beyond recognition.
  • I run our water threw(RO system) 7 filters before drinking it .Then I dont have to buy expensive bottled water.Id rather protect my body then worry about a little plastic.I reuse my plastic bottles, but you have to rinse them out and cap with tap water (has clorine in it )then let dry over night ,before using.Bacteria from your mouth in the bottle will grow and make you sick if you dont do it.
  • Yes, the environment and myself. I am freaked out by whatever might be 'leeching' off of that plastic into my water. I may be the only weirdo walking around with a glass jar of water, but oh well. :)
  • What kind of harm does it do by using bottled water other than the bottles turning as waste once you've used it?
