It runs on Faith.

One of the biggest flaws I've noticed in theism is that the concept of a "God" gives people a mandate which can be interpreted so that it seems to justify virtually any actions (Even contradictory ones), and yet, paradoxically, is all too often presented as an absolute.

The common flaws, or seemingly flaws of the theistic mindset, is that one is supposed to go upon doctrines, and ancient manuscripts to worship a being, or beings depending on the religion in question. They call it faith, to worship a being that bears no physical proof of it's existance, the issue with that is, if said being were to actually exist, it/he/she would appear from time to time in some form or another to assist it's subjects. The lack of appearances led me to believe that most if not all religions were made up to explain the unexplained, or unexplainable. Examples include; existence, life's meaning, our meaning, or purpose on this planet, the creation, and or maintenance of said planet, and matter in general. When a logical answer, was unavailable a higher being was thought to have created such situations, and existences. In older doctrines, scriptures, and texts, people claimed to have seen godly figures, godly actions and or miracles. These can be theorized to be the imagination, odd reactions of certain matter, and or other evironmental reactions. In todays society the appearance of a deity, or higher power is seldom seen where in ancient times they were widely seen everyday. I think as society matures, and as sciences show us more realistic reasons for unexplained circumstances, more and more religion will be questioned.
