Whatever color you like. Green is said to be unlucky and reds/oranges can be dangerous at dusk, they are the most difficult to see. White and black tend to show dirt. Darker colors will absorb heat and be warmer on hot days. Lighter colors will be cooler.

I am a big fan of blue. But that is a personal preference of course. But some things think about. Black is very sharp but the hardest color to keep clean and can be difficult if you live in a warm climate. It can help if you live where it is cold and sunny. White makes sense where it is warm but is difficult to keep clean as well. Bright colors like blue, yellow and red look very sporty but this can attract unwanted attention from law enforcement officers. The trendy colors that go in and out of style are fun, but can make you regrete you color choice one or two years down the road. They can also effect resale value. Green is said to be an unlucky car color. The silver/tan/champagne/gold colors have been the most popular now for the last 10 or so years. They don't go out of style and hold resale value. Bottom line, YOU are the only one who knows the best color for YOUR car. Great question MK

It really depends on the vehicle. Yellow with tinted windows can look good on some, black on others, silver on a few, dark green on muscle cars, etc. My preference is a deep, glossy black, but that colour is very high maintenance. Still my fav though :)

harlequin purple,gold

Depends on the car, but i'm partial to royal Blue with matte-black hood, or yellow with black racing stripes (a la Bumblebee)
-
It depends on the type of car.

black

The best color I ever saw on a car was something called Cobalt Blue that was the color of my grandfather's car. It was the neatest color, in daylight it was a very, very dark purple (I like purple); at night it looked jet black.
-
I read some place that the best color for a car when it comes to resale value is White.
-
Most of the ones I see I like in either blue or black. The only thing I like in red are the little convertibles like the Mazda Miata or the Pontiac Solstice. I think those are adorable in red. :)

If you want to be conventional, silver-grey is a fantastic choice. Black is great but it's everywhere. You could try white if you want. If you want to be out of the ordinary, try Indigo. It looks great. Or a deep purple. If you want to be out there, I recommend a cerulean blue. Anything beyond this level, I would say red, yellow, green and pink. Green is pretty neat, but not the lime green kind, the emerald green. You'll know what you want when you see it.

An orange car deffinetly has character!!
-
Its not red. Red fades too easily. Pewter grey has always worked for me. even when my car is dirty, it looks clean.
-
Purple :)

Silver!

Black - however, from statistical standpoint, black cars have most number of accidents specially during night Red - Specially if it is a sports car. Silver/ Gray - Dirt doesn't seem to be noticeable when you have this color Dark Green/ Gold - Talk about classic and elegance ~Bemnestle from Club Corona Philippines

Cars with the highest resale value are black, white, red and silver not necessarily in that order. Auto Club did a survey a few years ago that showed the color involved in the LEAST amount of accidents was white.
-
PLAID! You'd never lose that in a parking lot! :D
-
Gray!
-
Yellow.
-
RED
-
Silver grey.

Best for seeing a car from far away? That's yellow. Best for not showing dirt? That's silver or gray. Best for staying cool in a hot climate? That's white. Best for just looking cool on a sports car? That's red.
-
I personally like black or white (not both at the same time though). I also like red, but it is a proven fact that a red car is more likely to get into an accident.
-
Deep green seems regal to me.
-
gray. hides dust/dirt very well.
