My 1993 Chevy Cavalier has a windshield washer reservoir leak. What are the steps for removal to repair or replace?

If the manual shows the resevoir at the firewall I'd double check that you are looking at the correct tank. You could be in fact looking at the coolant resevoir tank if it's located in front of the tire. That is a normal place for that resevoir. If you aren't sure simply ask a mechanic before you get in over your head.
