I hate to admit it, but I am indeed hurrying to gather more money. I'm doing that because I feel that there's so much to do in the world, yet we have so little time. Having lots of money would enable me to do the things that I wanna do. Well, that's what I think. Have I lost my sense of humor because of that? I hope not ;)

I don't think they lost their sense of humor they just don't take the time to stop and enjoy what they do have.Time is very short and you can't take it with you when you die.I was that way until I had my first heart attack I have had 4 of them and I had a battle with cancer but thank God I have been in remission for 3 years now so now I take the time to look at every little thing that I never looked at before and I spend more time with my Kids and grandkids and I am a lot more humble and thankful.

I agree... but thats not the only thing they have lost to the great god greed

As an "older" person I have found that many younger people have the best sense of humor..it is the "older" folks who seem to have lost a sense of "fun"..either they are too obsessed with their health or too obsessed with politics/religion, none of which lend humor to any discussion! :)

I think the younger generation is fine when it comes to a sense of humor. I do however find them to be a bit rude at times, but then again, I was probably like that too.

Who told you that old joke ? :)

I find that the younger generation is more open to it. They do make more money and are very ambitious but when I see so many of them in Satsangs I feel very nice. They are more attuned to the spiritual than the earlier generation. Most of my students are from the younger generation, hard working, have a great sense of humor and have a mind of their own.
