I believe that they are. We are not respecting them for the knowledge, wisdom and contribution. However, I do also believe that it is a two way street. The youth of today aren't entirely to blame. The older generation tend to be quite disrespectful to their younger counterparts and they also have a belief that they are somehow owed a lot more than they are. I think there needs to be a genuine respect from both sides before we get return things to the way they should be.
