I think being spiritual and being religious are not the same thing. Religion, to me, means that you have a set of dogma you must accept in order to "belong". Being spiritual doesn't require regimentation in that way..it means, to me, being aware that there is more to life than that which you can see, feel, touch, taste or smell..it means what goes on internally inside us when we are contemplative. :)

I can talk to others about relgion without getting into controersy.

No, spirituality is not a tangible thing, but for me, it is infinitely rewarding. I find Spirit all around me. I don't have to go to a church to locate it. I do know some people who are religious and are also noncontentious. It's refreshing.

In person I don't find it difficult to talk about religion without getting controversial. I find it more difficult on line because most of the time people lead you into those topics for the purpose of attacking you. I rarely see people in real life treat each other as horribly as people do online. Spirituality is a reality for me and it is fulfilling. I pray and I enjoy fellowship with others who feel the same. I also enjoy friendship and time with others who feel differently.

Yes Spirituality is a real and tangible thing at should be fullfilling. People who have matured in their failth and study regularly will be less controversual than people who are just learning or who fail to study and grow.

For me spirituality is more of a goal to work towards. It’s a means of grasping that I am nothing and yet I am still apart of everything. It is not something that some one can preach to me, but something I have to learn for myself. There is no need for controversy, because we are free to believe what we want. People who try and force their beliefs on others should be ignored.

No, it's always controversial. Christ was VERY controversial!

sure..but only if the opposing party does not start a fuss

The gospel of Jesus Christ is always controversial and will always attract varied response.

(1) No, no, that depends on "What" you wish to be filled with. (2) Yes.

For me, spirituality is a very real tangible fulfilling thing. It is what I live my life by and for. Sure there are some people who can do the religion thing without controversy. They just state thier feelings and have adult conversations about it. Then if someone starts a controversy, they walk away. But for me, spirituality and religion are two very different things.

Spirit is not a religion. Spirit is not tangible but spirituality is, as a memory. But while Spirit is Present as it is, there is nothing beyond it, it just is, and as the witness of Spirit, there is nothing tangible, except everything besides Spirit. In Reality "everything" is vibration, but the Spirit that animates everything is not vibrating. So vibration is tangible but Spirit lies hidden in all vibration, and is untouched by creation. Spirit is complete, and so it is always fulfilled, but what is not fulfilled is Consciousness of Spirit in all of creation. This is the going back to Spirit, Consciousness becoming Conscious of itself as Spirit. And of course this is an explainations in words of what cannot be descibed in form. It is only a pointer it is not the truth, but an explaination about Truth. Is there anything about this that should be denied? And if so then it cannot be from the spirit of truth, but from elsewhere in creation. God Bless
