  • Yes, alot of times what you listen to says alot about the thoughts going through your head.
  • I don't know about everyone else but it works for me.
  • Yes, i think a vulnerable mind can be swayed by suggestive actions , if your feeling sad a sad song will help you cry if your in love and you hear a love song you feel more elated if your angry and hear an nangry song you become more intent on being enraged. However if you are fairly balanced you should be able to cope with heraring most things and handle them on a reasonable rational basis.
  • Not unless you have those tendancies in the first place, then it may make you notice them more. For example, if you just want to sit back and relax..you usually put on relaxing music. The desire to relax is already there and the music helps it along.
  • yes i believe this is true because some types of music does this to you.
  • Some music, can be a mood motivator. Especially, if a person is physcotic or taking acid or mood elevators. For the most part, normal humans have emotions and music can set the mood for a given situation. Some country music, i refer to as suicide music. For most of us, music is just a normal way of expression.
  • I don't believe this. Music can accompany a feeling you already have, and maybe reinforce it a little bit. I personally believe that if someone is violent or suicidal, they were like that to begin with. Music is just used as an excuse. Same thing with violent films, video games, etc. Some people have these tendencies already in them, they are just looking for reassurance and encouragement that it's "ok" to hurt people. That way it's easy to blame everyone else but yourself.
  • I think different types of music can affect peoples' moods. For example, pop or classical music might put people in a 'good' mood. Perhaps listening to 'blues' or 'heavy metal' or 'rap' music a lot, might put people in a 'depressed' or 'aggressive' mood.
