I probably wouldn't date anyone who didn't like pets... I have two cats and they are family therefore if you don't like my "family" you obviously don't like me.. or at least that's my Ass u m(e) ption... ( has anyone else heard that phrase about assume?)

My pets are family, If it came to a "new love' or my pets the new love would be kicked to the curb. I've had my pets longer and they love me and trust me. If I take on a pet it's for life.

My "new love" would have to be the one to go. Your pets will always be there for you, and who knows if they will. Don't put your pet through something he/she doesn't deserve.

I don't think I'd ever have a "new love" who wasn't absolutely ga-ga over pets to begin with since animal rescue is a big part of my life, but if I ever had a boyfriend who couldn't get along with my little mutt, he could leave. My dog is my sidekick.
