He's dead Jim.
I guess he didn't live long and prosper.
Did he have red stripes anywhere on his uniform? Did he have a name? If yes to the first, and no to the second, forget about him, he's an expendable nobody.
Just let it all out, Honey...here ya go <offers shoulder>
Glad that he's acting :)
Don't hold it in just cry
Go and have a Sonic Shower and some Synthahol. That will ease your sorrow.
Just wait a few episodes. He'll probably come back as a different character. Star Trek has a history of doing this when they get a good actor for some of the more minor (non-regular) rolls.
Tell scotty to "beam up" another one.
Enterprise is the one series that DID kill off a main character during its TV run - Trip. that alone wouldn't be a bad thing but what a PITIFUL way to handle it. no one had a chance to mourn: the stupid "frame" they put on the story treated it as an awkward mix of ancient history with a tiny bit of commentary from the actual show's characters tossed in.
I loved the Trip character, but frankly, the episode where the Captain's dog nearly died evoked a he** of a lot more emotion from me.
Entertainment is supposed to allow us to experience things in a fictional setting that we probably would never encounter in real life. You should feel relieved that you don't have to see that kind of thing every day.
Has there been any reference to Captain Archer and the crew of the original "Enterprise" in any Star Trek series?
