I would pay up to $1,000 for those kinds of tickets. If it was my all time favourite band, playing one time only in my country, live for 2 hours, then I would not hesitate to pay a considerable amount of money for those tickets. That's just me, though, and I wouldn't put a purchase like that before something more important, like paying my bills etc.

Yes its way to high. Older bands on tour get away with it because people don't want to miss the chance to see them. You never know when they will come back around so they will pay anything. Newer bands do not make jack on album sales but make it all in concert sales. They charge more sometimes to make up for bad album sales. The record company makes most of that.

Well... I wouldn't but tickets from a scalper just on principal... but I would pay top dollar for Maiden tickets, AND travel several states to get there... so all in all it'd be more than $600 to see the show.

I am po' folk. I would not pay over $50 if it were my all-time favorite 2 bands, even.
