What is ethernet cable, where do I get it and what disc do i need to go online with slimline ps2 and where do i get the disc, I already have a router

Ethernet cable is the common term for cat5 cable, also known to the general public as "the cable that goes from my high speed modem to my computer", or "network cable". As for going online with the slimline i am really not sure, i have an "original" ps2 and bought the network kit separately, which came with the disc. It's possible you don't need it and connecting your ps2 to your router will be all you need to worry about. You could probably check the ps2 faq over at playstation.com or via link from sony.com. (i can't check those sites at work, stupid firewall blocks anything to do with video games).
