Giving points is like hugging, but taking points is not really like a slap. I do not generally take points, but taking points is more like saying that something was not proper or maybe was offensive. If I ever take points, I never take the maximum amount of points. If something is really offensive, which has rarely happened maybe I'll take one point, but I wouldn't take max points because I don't think that I should give my opinion too much weigh. I prefer to rate and give maximum points to all the great positive answers that I see.
