Before the pond froze, we canoed several times a week on it. That would be around Nov, maybe the beginning of Dec.

We go all the time. My Dad has one and fishes every weekend. Fun!

Of any kind? I guess a flat-bottomed bass boat counts, then. I am on the river pretty often. Only when it's too cold do I not get out. I was able to get out a few weeks ago. But, we have another cold, windy spell now. It may be a while before I am out again. I do some wind sailing on the lake in summer as well. I stay pretty well stocked with fresh fish. I have to give a lot away. It keeps me in friends. (wink)

Last summer. My in-laws own a glorious getaway cabin (actually quite a nice house!) on a lake in northern Minnesota. There are three boats there, and I prefer the canoe because it doesn't upset the wildlife as much.:)
