  • No. Weak energy.
  • Not usually, but, like all musical genres, there are exceptions.
  • I guess I have a certain perverse fascination with the fact that you can take 3 chords in a simple pattern, and keep doing variations on it for... like... 100 years. It's like the Volkswagen Beetle of music, the darn thing just never quits. :)
  • Love it!
  • I love the blues! You really don't get much better.
  • I love Soul & R&B music !
  • I love the blues. Some good BB King and early fleetwood mac and I'm good.
  • I am the blues, I had a bit of a rough time in life. I have been playing the blues since I was 11 on guitar and bass. I really started getting into it at 13. When everybody was listening to the "Monkees" or a little later "Grand funk railroad" I was listening to BB King, Albert, Freddie, Muddy, Elmore and all the blues guys. A lot of Texas guys like Freddie and Johnny Winter, later some ZZ Top with billy Gibbons. I branched out into rock and Southern Rock too. If you want to check out some of my music I have a Myspace page. I recorded a song and a 12 bar blues jam to start with. At 50 I am just getting into recording in my bedroom studio. http://www.myspace.com/texassouthernblues
  • Yes I do!!!
  • Yes I do.
  • Very much. So basic but it's still has so much depth and feeling.
  • Sorry, hate it.
  • Hell noes
  • Musically speaking, but of course.
  • I like old old blues... mainy from the 20s and 30s (or at least pre-70s). Give me a Charlie Patton album and I'll be happy indeed. Keep your Stevie Ray Vaughn style music, however. That is NOT for me at all. Here is one of my favorites... Skip James... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB2POWSnStU
  • Yep. I like John Lee Hooker, especially "Boom Boom Boom". I like Buddy Guy and his instrumental version of I&Tina Turner's "It's Gonna Work Out Fine". I like a lot of the 1960's English music that was inspired by and that honored the music of the early African-American artists who originated and lived the blues. One of my all-time favorites in that regard is the Cream's cover of Willie Dixon's "Spoonful". Another one of them is "Red House" by Jimi Hendrix:
