I guess is a tie between, my life without me and Girl Interrupted, the things that the main characters say at the beginning of each movie make me think a lot and that is not something a lot of movies do to me.

Without any question, the opening scene of Patton with George C Scott delivering the speech in front of the American Flag was the greatest intro to a movie.

i forget what the movie was called. but i saw one on some french movie where some dudes face was literally beaten off by a fire hydrant. 'twas intense.

The Day after. Its about the after math of a nuclear halocaust in the US. It was creat directing and acting. I get chills evertime I see it. take it with a grain of salt though it was filmed in the 80s

I can't remember which Saw movie it was, but it's the one where Donny Wahlberg smashed his foot with a cinder block to get out of the ankle shackle to get free. Totally gruesome!!! Weren't u supposed to write me on yahoo to talk???

The most intense 1st 10 minutes of any movie I've ever seen was "Cliffhanger" with (of all people), Sylvester Stallone! I WAS sitting on the edge of my seat!

The beginning of "Raising Arizona" sticks out in my mind because it's about 10 minutes long and encompasses a big part of the plot before the main title even comes up. I love that movie.
