Because it gets them attention. When you stop giving attention, they rapdly lose interest. Going to have my first child in 4 weeks, will call back in 5 years and tell you if the theory is correct.

It is a way of life. It adds a little change up to the tempo that has come and gone, but yes it is getting over used and needs to be directed towards politics and prison guards.

I think that the reason they do it is that it's considered a taboo, therefore they think that doing it where they can't get in trouble, that is a clever thing for them... unfortunately the crude and offensive language doesn't get better when some of them grow up... they continue it, and yes it does get annoying sometimes especially when it is used badly... me personally I use it when I'm by myself or when I'm playing a game, that's about it, oh and road rage ofcourse...

It is their way of testing their "manhood". They think they look bigger and it makes them look older. When society starts encouraging intelligence, politeness and common courtecy again, we will see less of the crude conduct that has become so commonplace today.

Because it makes them sound like big, tough, grown men. Plus, cussing is something they're not supposed to do, in most cases and who doesn't love to get away with things they're not supposed to do?

I honestly dont know. Probably for the same reason that little kids think its hilarious to poke their tongues out.

You haven't heard Monty Pythons 'f**k' skit, have you? Cussing is clever, when used in comedy :)
