  • No, but I attend parties im not invited too all the time. They call me wedding crasher! =D
  • My parties are between a very close-knit group of friends, so thankfully things like that don't happen. At my best friend's 18th birthday, something like 30 extra people turned up, got horrendously drunk, vomited everywhere, then got dragged off home and in one case hospital... *sigh* People who turn up to parties uninvited frustrate the sh*t out of me... it's so far beyond rude... Whatever, if anyone did that at one of my parties I'd have them promptly removed (trust me, if they weren't invited it's either because they're jackasses or no one here knows them... Thus they should not come without at least asking first...) It seems I'm increasingly alone on this point, but meh : D
  • Sure! When I lived on campus that happened ALL of the time:)
  • I threw a birthday party for my now ex-bf & I told 3 people to invite some friends. It was a 1500 sq ft house & there were so many ppl there, they had to hang out outside. There were cars parked for the next 3 blocks & most of the ppl I didn't even know. I don't remember much but I heard it was a great party.
  • That used to happen in my college days when a whole bunch of crashers would show up after finding out about a party by word of mouth.
  • I attended a wedding where there were "crashers". My husband and I went to sit at our table and all the chairs were filled. It was embarrassing, the Matire' D had to get involved and everyone had to get up and show their place cards. Either people didn't RSVP or they weren't invited and just showed up. The Bride and Groom were opening up envelopes at the end of the night looking for cash to give the catering hall to pay for the extra people.
  • My friend and I threw a Hallowe'en party abotu 10 years ago and an extra 150 people turned up and started lighting fireworks on the street. I got into a couple of fights and they left then someone tried to smash the door of the hall in later and drag me away, then they got their arses kicked. It was quite the night.
