For the most part - yes. But we should also keep in mind that we are only human and we will make mistakes. Every.single.mistake should not be an issue. With that said I am a true believer that we are all accountable for our actions.

it really depends on what the blame is on. americans seem to create "disorders" to pin their problems on when they screw up (i'm not ragging on america, i actually am, in fact, an american). passive-aggressive disorder? come on. simply a personality type. a lot of the time, you can't blame behavior on something other than one's self.

If people took responsibility for their actions and were held accountable for them I think we would be living in utopia. What a glorious dream that would be!!! I'm not holing my breath however.

No. I believe in grace and forgiveness. What kind of people would we be if we were unforgiving?

YES!! If a person is not held accountable for their actions, what stops them from doing anything they feel like doing? Accountability should be one of the MOST important issues of society today.

I believe in consequences. So, yes, I think it is a good thing for people to be accountable and responsible, however that doesn't mean they can't be forgiven, but only if they change and are genuinely sorry.
