So let's see if I understand your question. You want to be able to play videos from the USB drive, but you want to be able to transfer data wirelessly to the USB drive from your computer while the USB drive is plugged into the DVD/DIVX drive? I think the answer is no, if that's what you are looking for. Basically, you want a dual-ported drive. Even if that worked, I'd bet that the DVD player would not handle a dynamically updated disk very well, or at all. You are best off plugging the drive into your computer, downloading the files, then unplugging it from the computer and into the DVD/DIVX player. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has a better suggestion.

hey I had Western Digital 400GB External and I've pluggin it in two of my PHILLIPS DVD/DIVX PLayers but it says " Device not supported". on the other hand if i use a flash drive it works fine on the Player. Anybody what I can do to run my external on the dvd/divx player?
