  • No, I don't. I think if someone takes the time to really think about an answer, they'll more than likely give points to the question that obviously intrigued them or whatever. Actually, I take it back. I honestly don't think it makes a difference. People'll give points or they won't. It's nothing to do with feeling like they've done their part. I don't think, at least. Maybe it is. My head hurts...:)
  • I've never noticed that at all. I always give points to people whose question interested me enough to stop, read, and answer, even if I don't agree with their viewpoint or think they are a jerk lol! And, yes, I do tend to give longer than average answers, too. But I've noticed that people who ask questions tend not to give points to longer answers.
  • no + 5 points
  • Maybe I give people this feeling sometimes. This is because I often give points to a question only after I have become some kind of feedback on my answer (points or comments). The reason I am doing this is because I sometimes get the impression that some people are just asking questions to get points, and they don't care about the answers. I don't want to encourage this attitude. After I get a feedback, I *always* give points (if the feedback is not offensve, of course).
