they hit me or they had said something really bad to me.

I can't think of a good enough reason. Basically, if I tried, I'd probably miss and dislocate my shoulder or something! lol

If they insulted my girlfriend.

Outside of being physically assaulted and needing to defend myself or break free, I can't think of a reason.

If they have done something to someone in my family.

Personally, if someone punched me anywhere or did did something really bad to one of my friend where they couldn't defend them self.
