Does a nipple piercing affect breat feeding, how about if its been healed for a few years?

You will have to consult a midwife on this one I suspect - I hope you get answers from someone who has overcome this - it has often crossed my mind the effects body piercing could have on pregnancy etc. Good luck.

Ive heard that it wont effect breast feeding, but you may wanna get a professionals opinion.

if it is healed i dont think it will be a problem. i took mine out just before the baby was born, and the flow of milk is definatley faster on that breast. good for a hungry baby.

While you should of course take the jewelry out, a piercing shouldn't affect breast feeding. You shouldn't breast feed if it's not healed, but a fully healed piercing shouldn't present any problems.
