Embalming. Because I do not want to be cremated. I don't want to be on someone's fireplace mantle and be dragged around like luggage till someone knocks me over and breaks me open onto the floor to be sucked up by a vacuum cleaner and tossed into a landfill by some gret-great relative who doesn't give a crap about me.

Creamation and scattered ashes. I want my body to be as free as my soul.

I want my body cremated when I die. When a body is embalmed, they suck all the fluids out of the body and replace it with a liquid that only delays the decomposing process for a short time. I see no point in delaying the inevitable, so may as well get it over with quickly and cleanly in the fire.

Cremation. I want my ashes to be sprinkled with my husband's in the places that we both loved. My children have asked if they can take both of our ashes and visit the places in the city that we loved that we had wonderful memories of. I think that's a wonderful plan. Those are only the shells of who we were, not our souls. I think it will bring them each some good memories and peace to do that.

Hello My Friend, It's good to see you. How are your doing? I would like to be cremated. My husband and I want to have our ashes scattered over the Rocky Mountains as we both love them and have enjoyed traveling through them many times.
