Its called get a decoder for premier.. and get yourself a free copy of adobe premiere. dont even mess around with other products. All my friends have skateboarded for years, and have only trusted the best equipment and boards and the only program they will ever touch is premiere.

The one which I know of is called Final Cut Pro. It's used to edit feature films and is very, very good. I think it may be only for macs though.

Well, if free software isn't good enough, and you're looking for a "reasonably priced" (100-200$?) software, Adobe Premiere Elements is a consumer-level version of the professional Adobe Premiere (Pro).

Come on , haven't u ppl heard of open source ? as in free great stuff ? Try VirtualDub and install some codecpack like acemega codec pack or vista codec pack from the internet

pinnacle video spin it is free xax by debugmode it is not the best but free also and it depends on what reasonably priced is you can get after effects or premiere pro for like 139 dollars for after effects and or premiere pro for 70 bucks when after effects is usually 1000 and premiere pro is usually 700 here is the site http://www.almomiz.com/ and it is legal

iMovie is great and is free with all Macs. PC's arnt great at editing movies.

VirtualDub is freeware, and there is a large body of plugins for it which make it perfectly acceptable for professional level work. It's certainly more than capable of doing home movies. http://www.VirtualDub.org

I have VisionLab Studio for that - you can even make Star Wars movies with that tool.

If you only need to edit a video simpy, you can use Joyoshare Media Cutter. It can trim and merg video and audio losslessly. Also, can change the color of the video. What's more, it is low budget.
