    I think that a lot of it has to do with someone's environment. Someone who is more outgoing, may have several siblings and is always competing for attention. Someone who is shy may not interact with as many of their peers. Also, I think that some people are born with a certain personality trait. Some are just naturally extrovert or introvert. Life's experiences help to mold a person's true character.
