Sometimes he did,and in the KISS comic books, the red ink was made with a small part of blood from gene.

Yes, however it wasnt human blood. Pig blood and intenstines are commonly used to go inplace of human ones so my guess is that it was probly that.

No it was cornstarch with red food coloring.

I don't know if this is true or not but I remember hearing that Gene's "blood" is a combination of plain yogurt, karo syrup and red food coloring.
