Residents of NYS get a discount when attending a SUNY college. Do all NYS residents also get that discount for CUNY schools? Or do you have to be a resident of NYS for that discount?

I don't know anything about a discount but SUNY schools are kind of state run colleges so they are easier to get into and are far cheaper than private colleges like SU or Cornell. I do know that it will cost more if you're not a resident of New York.
