I don't hate it, but avoid it if possible. I don't want to give off the wrong vibe and get maced in an elevator.
-
I enjoy talking or making eye contact with people in elevators. It makes the ride up or down more pleasant for me because I don't like elevators.
-
No, I like talking to people in the elevator.
-
Yes, so I don't. I make it a point not to speak or look at people on elevators, call me antisocial.
-
Doesn't bother me. Probably not a good idea to stare. Creepy. LOL!

I like it, if the person isn't a typical non-communicative defenses-up male. I think it's weird that people pass each other in the hallway and don't say "Hey." or something. I worked in a dysfunctional company where almost half the employees would pass you in the hallway and not even make eye contact, and that added to the negative vibes.

Yes...but not because it's an elevator...just because they're strangers...well, maybe also because we're in tight quarters. >.<
-
No, I stare them down, so they know not to mess with me!

I always speak to people when they enter or if I enter an elevator. It is always interesting to see the person's reaction. It is as if I broken some sort of unspoken law!! What is the deal with that? I mean will it kill you to just speak back?? Are we so scared of one another now-a-days that everyone is threat!

Love it! I like to ask them how they think I'm doing now that I'm off the Prozac!;)
