Why is it that nipples are so sensitive and easily stimulated?

It's nature's way of making sure that there's generations to come. The nipples are sensitive so that there's a direct connection between the desire for sex and breast-feeding; one strengthens the other feeling. It should alos be noted that nipples are as sensitive in men as they are in women and that men can actually have nipple erections the same as women. Many women are ashamed or feel guilty that when they breast-feed their babies they are actually sexually aroused but it's all quite normal in the great plan to keep the Human Race going.

Actually, to counter a prior answer, being sexually stimulated while breastfeeding is counter-productive. Sexual stimulation involves a certain build-up of tension; breastfeeding requires that the mother relax in order to let down the milk. The stimulation might make the mother excited but won't help the current 'product' of human reproduction, the baby.

i love having my nipples played with it feels good and if played with it leads to wetness down there. now on the other hand i have 6 kids and each one breat feed. when they fed there was no sexual arousal even when my husband tried to play with them it was uncomfortable. betwen each child my husban played with them and i enjoyed it.
