everyone has got the right idea here. But for me the best thing to serve a steak with is a knife and fork.

Chips (french fries if your American ABers), as chunky as you can get 'em. :)

I love bearnaise on a filet mignon, sauteed mushrooms on a strip, and sometimes horsey sauce on a ribeye, "Pittsburg style" crispy on the outside and rare on the inside.

Hmmm.... Potatoes, of any kind, corn on the cob with plenty of butter, salt and pepper, a dinner roll or garlic bread, a nice salad (before), and a desert (YOU choose!) (Oh... And 57 Sauce!) ;-)
