absolutly. faster is always better(esp in my field)And just because a computer is faster doesnt mean it's sucking more power. Intel's Penryn 45 nm halfnium die process allows for a much faster pipeline stage, and yet keeps thermal leakage, and power consumption to a minimum. Intel's Nehalem core is supposed to be even faster, and cheaper to run then the Penryn.
