Yes, girls do it too.

There's an old saying that I've heard more than one woman use: "He can whet his appetite anywhere, so long as he comes home to eat."

I think guys can't HELP but look.. I mean men are visual creatures.. it pisses me off when my boyfriend does it, but he has explained to me time and again he doesnt do it to hurt me or to find someone else.. it just happends! I stare at chocolate cake or a totally hot new pair of jeans that are too expensive, do you?

I don't think so, not after he is in a committed relationship and wants to honor and respect his partner. Oogling and flirting should be done before and not after you have chosen your beloved.

It is not appropriate to do it blatantly and without shame when the girlfriend is present. I do not do this, as it is disrespectful. However, a passing glance at a beautiful woman is normal and understandable.

If you just look, not oogle, I don't get offended. Not-real-life women like magazines or tv, I could care less if you oogle them. I think it is pretty funny how it almost seems to be an uncontrollable response in men to look at women. A true gentleman though will always make his lass feel like the most beautiful and intelligent woman in the world and hopefully she will make him feel just as good about himself.

Whether the girl does or not as well is irrelevant. It's not the guy's fault that his girlfriend doesn't look at other girls. But, I think as long as it's just looking, not, you know, cat calls and everything else, it shouldn't matter. He's in a relationship with the girl, she should be able to trust him enough to know that it doesn't matter if he looks, because at the end of the day he's still hers.

Only with other guys -- how rude and disrespectful to do so in front of you!! On the otherhand, with due respect to the comment you received, how naive to think a man is not attracted to another woman's looks -and it does NOT mean they are going to be unfaithful, but the temptation is stronger if our natural reflex is stifled.
